Grand Opening Ceremony
During this exciting event joined by a large number of skilled people and industry experts, Tom Tai, CEO of PMT, delivered an opening speech amid a warm applause. He shared memorable moments of working with every PMTer over the past years, and quoted President Xi Jinping’s words “This country is its people; the people are the country”, expressing his deep concern for employees and a rosy vision for the company’s future. With many years of companionship and concerted efforts, Tom takes “today” as a new starting point and “unswerving pursuit of core technologies” as the cornerstone, bringing such mental strength to every PMTer.
Johnny Huang(Product Manager) and Sean Wu(R&D Manager) also gave speech on the occasion. Both of them reviewed nearly 10 years of everyone’s effort related to research and development, and expressed their emotions on the years passed by.
At 9:22 am, at the joyful moment of the gun salutes, the senior executives of PMT cut the ribbon with their golden scissors, embarking on a new journey of the vigorous development of the company. Later, all staff posed for a group photo, leaving everyone with a happy memory.
Enlightening Product Training
After the celebration, for the purpose of better improving the skills of employees, PMT’s product technology training began in full swing. David Wang (CMM R&D supervisor), started from the product and provided a theoretical knowledge explanation and an introduction to the product’s technical advantages.
During the training, the Regional Managers made supplementary comments and asked questions occasionally, provoking everyone to deep thoughts. He proposed that in the face of doubts in market competition, we should always put customers first and strive to answer their questions from their perspective, which won widespread recognition for its high-level sales philosophy.
Leo Ma and Ryan Li (Product Consultant) also shared their valuable experiences in their career, inspiring everyone to have a deeper understanding of customer demands and pain points.
Consultative Sales Practical Training
To enhance team cohesion and give full play to the high value-added of human resources. On October 22, PMT specially invited a senior training teacher in the field of practical industrial product marketing to impart new knowledge, new methods and new competitiveness to sales colleagues. Teacher Zhang made everyone intensively understand the essential difference between consultative selling and promotion selling with easy-to-understand explanations and practical exercises. During the training process, PMTer actively participated in discussions and role-playing, and constantly learned how to establish a solid and trust-based relationship with customers by simulating real customer scenarios.
New Generation Arm Introduction
On October 23, PMT continued to carry out the operation training of the new generation—PMT GAMMA series arm. Sean Wu firstly introduced the spectacular technical advantages of GAMMA, which have sparked cheers from the audience. Neo Wang then demonstrated the operation and provided on-site guidance.

PMT has gained widespread recognition of industry-leading enterprises within the very first year of its foundation. And that was thanks to its accumulated technologies before the company was founded in 2019, all-dimensional tests, improvements and upgrades on the equipment structure, accuracy, stability, etc.. In just five years, PMT has risen nearly fivefold in its group members from about 30 to more than 150. Technologies and Layout Design
PMT has been dedicated to portable measurement technologies for years and achieved numerous patents. The ALPHA series includes 6-axis and 7-axis portable arms and scan arms. PMT portable measuring arm consists of two carbon fiber steel fixed arm lengths and six or seven angle encoders. The encoder is manufactured by PMT independently and can be sold separately. The ALPHA series features an equal length design and internal counter balancing system, which ensures flexibility and ease of operation as well as a full measurement range. PMT ALPHA portable arm offers a measurement range of 1.5 to 4.5 meters and an operating temp range of 5 to 45 ℃ .The built-in temperature sensors enable an effective compensation under varying temperatures. It is widely used in areas including automobiles, aerospace, defense and military industry, rail transportation, engineering machinery, and education sector.
In the meantime, for purpose of providing customers with more comprehensive measurement solutions and continuously expanding the boundaries of metrology technology, PMT is committed to the research and development of CMM’s core systems, including probes, controllers and software. At present, PMT has launched a new series of products, which is divided into four series: Bridge CMM FUTURE, PRIME, Shop Floor CMM SPACE and Gantry CMM LOONG. The FUTURE series is designed with a rectangular beam structure, separated airflow with independent operation and other leading technologies in CMM, which can rival mid-and high-end metrology equipment of foreign import brands. SPACE is an innovative CMM specifically designed for shop floor, which can be connected with robots, automatic loading and unloading as well as machine tools, providing industrial customers with improved efficiency and quality. The LOONG gantry CMM has good operating reliability and low maintenance cost, and it can be operated in an open shop floor. It characterizes in easy implementation of loading and unloading, large measuring space and high automation.

How to be a Counselor Salesperson? One of the key things is to understand the ways of thinking – the way out is always determined by the way we think. In the face of complex problems, we need to always put our customers first, and find a way out through our capabilities.
“Credibility+Empathy=TRUST”
Tom Tai said that the building of trust serves as the foundation of maintaining good customer relationships, and the precondition of trust is credibility and empathy. We need to look at the question from the customer’s perspective so that we can win their trust and respect.
“All the deals are just the beginning of the cooperation with our customers!”
Tom Tai said, adding that closing deals is just the beginning, and as an account manager, we should keep humble and stay true to our original aspiration of solving problems for customers, and we must respond in a timely manner and give feedback quickly for any after-sales problem.
“We can only achieve a long-term development by developing an authentic relationship with customers!”
The key word “sincerity” was repeatedly brought up by Tom Tai throughout this training.
